Its predecessor, the 150° Italia, brought Ferrari relatively limited success in 2011, scoring just a single Grand Prix win in the hands of Fernando Alonso and powering the team to a distant third in the constructors’ standings, well behind rivals Red Bull and McLaren.
The new Ferrari, which will be raced by the unchanged driver line-up of Alonso and Felipe Massa, is expected to be given an initial shakedown shortly following launch, before making its full test debut at the first pre-season, multi-team session at Jerez in Spain on February 7-10.
