Force Indias 2009 engine supplier should be revealed in the near future, according to team owner Vijay Mallya. Force India currently use Ferrari power, but talks with McLaren concerning a potential technical collaboration have led to speculation of a possible switch to Mercedes.

Yas Marina Circuit unveiled by Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management (ADMM) have unveiled the Yas Marina Circuit, host to next years inaugural Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, in a unique art exhibition at the Emirates Palace. The exhibition features a selection of images of the new tracks facilities that have been transformed into pieces of art.

Fuji Speedway - the technical requirements

The Fuji International Speedway mixes very slow corners with a long main straight designed to encourage overtaking manoeuvres. The teams therefore need to adopt a compromise in terms of set-up, in order to balance straight-line speed with grip in the low-speed sections. Mechanical grip and an engine with good low-end performance will hence pay dividends and count towards a competitive lap time. Renault explain how they plan to tweak the R28s set-up for the Japanese circuit.

Formula One teams to run 'green' tyres at Fuji

Formula One racing will show its support for the FIAs Make Cars Green campaign by running on unique green-grooved tyres at this weekends Japanese Grand Prix. The sports official tyre supplier, Bridgestone, launched the specially-designed rubber at a ceremony in Tokyo on Wednesday.

Testing to resume at Monza this week

With the summer ban now lifted, the Formula One fraternity is expected to be out in force testing at Monza this week. All 10 teams are scheduled to make the journey to the Italian track, as they begin preparations for Septembers Belgian and Italian Grands Prix.
